Zayn Malik Denies ‘Striking’ Gigi Hadid’s Mother Yolanda

Zayn Malik has denied striking Giga Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Hadid, following reports that she was considering filing a police report. 

TMZ, reported on Thursday, that Yolanda Hadid claims that she was struck by Malik last week and that she was seriously “considering filing a police report.”

Now, Malik has shared his side of the story, thoroughly denying that he struck Yolanda and stating that he hopes to deal with the matter in private.

“I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private,” Malik said to TMZ.

UPDATE

TMZ are now also reporting Malik and Giga are no longer together, and that they had actually split from each other more than a month ago.

The pair first started dating six year ago and have been in an on-off relationship ever since. They also welcomed their daughter Kahi to the world in September 2020.
