UFC Veteran Chris Leben Gives Update After COVID-19 Hospitalisation

Former MMA competitor, Chris Leben, has updated fans on his health as he continues to battle against Covid-19.
Two weeks ago, Leben shared the news that he had been hospitalised following testing positive for Covid. His admittance into hospital followed a notable cough and shortness of breath.
Taking to Instagram to update fans two days ago, the 41-year-old said that his oxygen levels were “going back up”. Speaking from a hospital bed and rigged to several monitors, Leben said that he was feeling “pretty good”.
“I feel pretty good, I’m off all other things,” he said. “I got no tubes in my body right now, only thing is oxygen.”
“They did say 100% if my lungs are damaged, but they also said 100% recovery is possible.”

Appearing optimistic about his recovery, Leben stated: “It’s gonna take some time, start out slow, but I’m still alive. I’m still here. I’m so grateful.”
“The fact that I get to fight my way back to 100% health, to have that opportunity, is such a blessing.” Leben added: “I learned a lot. It’s not that I’m scared to die, it’s that I’m in love with life.”
“I have so much to live for. A beautiful child, a thriving business; I have a family and I have the greatest, closest friends in the world that all came together and showed me how much they cared about me during this trying time.”
We wish Chris Leben a swift recovery.
