TV Chef Alex Guarnaschelli And Michael Castellon Call Off Engagement

Food Network star Alex Guarnaschelli and her fiance Michael Castellon have called off their engagement.

Confirming news of their breakup to Closer Weekly, Castellon said he was “wishing [Alex] nothing but the best.”

The two chefs met while Guarnaschelli was dining at the restaurant Castellon was working in. Impressed by his food, the Chopped judge decided to introduce herself to Castellon, beginning what would be a 5-year-long relationship.

Castellon proposed in June of 2020, in celebration of Guarnaschelli’s birthday. He supposedly feigned spotting a baby deer on the side of the road before proposing.

Guarnaschelli was previously married to fellow chef Brandon Clark, with whom she shares a 14-year-old daughter. The pair divorced in 2015.
