Tristan Simmonds has formally ended their early 2010s viral meme.

The 25-year-old internet personality has put an end to their popular Vine video that saw then Tish Simmonds sitting in her mothers car and joking about driving it.

Simmonds‘ grew in popularity after their video was picked up on the former TikTok-style app, with millions sharing the clip via their own social media accounts and recreating the moment.

In recent years, Tristan opened up about their gender identity, announcing to his followers that Tish was their former identity and would now live his life as Tristan Simmonds.

In a video posted on Tristan‘s TikTok account with over 1 million followers, he explains that on this 8-year anniversary that their remake of the viral ‘broom, broom’ video would be the last and that this is “the last goodbye to Tish Simmonds,”
