Travis Scott has been sued for wrongful death by a woman claiming to have suffered injuries at Astroworld in November.

The 31-year-old rapper has been named in a wrongful death lawsuit amongst others, including Live Nation, Scoremore Holdings and ASM Global.

The woman, Shanazia Williamson, has sued for wrongful death, claiming that she suffered injuries that resulted in a miscarriage.

Williamson says she was trampled on by a crowd surge that left her with shoulder, chest, back, leg, stomach and multiple other injuries.

The lawsuit says that the defendants’ “failure to plan, design, manage, operate, staff, and supervise the event was a direct and proximate cause of Shanazia‘s injuries and death of her and Jarawd‘s (her partner) unborn child.” It furthers to detail that her injuries left her with “trouble breathing, chest pain, and left leg pain, as well as injuries to other parts of her body.”

10 people tragically lost their lives during the Astroworld concert in November, 2021.
