Tom Hanks Cast In Next Wes Anderson Film
Tom Hanks joins Tilda Swinton, Owen Wilson and Bill Murray to star in Wes Anderson’s next feature.
A report by The Hollywood Reporter suggests Hanks‘ role will be small, though further details are unknown.
Anderson’s latest film ‘The French Dispatch‘ recently premiered at Cannes and will release theatrically on October 22. Swinton and Murray starred in the film opposite Timothée Chalamet, Benicio del Toro and Adrien Brody. Both actors have previously worked together and with Anderson on films including, Fantastic Mr Fox and Isle of Dogs.
Plot details for the new film are being kept under wraps, however filming will reportedly begin in Spain.
Hanks is currently working on Apple miniseries, Masters of The Air. The series follows a group of American serviceman flying inside a bomber during World War II.
