Tiffany Haddish Shares Update On Her Adoption Plans

Tiffany Haddish has shared an update on her future adoption plans.
In conversation with E!’s Daily Pop on Wednesday, Haddish confirmed she still fully intends to adopt a child: “Not right now, but maybe at the end of the year or beginning of next year.”
“I just went to Africa,” she revealed. “I was just in Eritrea, and people were trying to give me their kids. I was like ‘Hold up now, I gotta get the paperwork right now. I can’t just be taking kids with me.’”
The 42-year-old actress has previously spoken about her plans for motherhood, stating that she had opted into parenting classes and was hoping to adopt a child between 5 and 7-years-old.
Rising to fame following her role on NBC’s The Carmichael Show, Haddish received critical praise for her part in 2017’s Girls Trip. In 2018 she secured her first Primetime Emmy Award for her appearance on SNL and has since gone on to star in a number of prominent titles.
Currently, Haddish is awaiting the release of her most recent features, including Disney’s Haunted Mansion and The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent.
She is also set to appear in Apple’s upcoming murder-mystery comedy series, The Afterparty.
