St. Vincent Shares New Mockumentary Title Track

St. Vincent, has shared the title track from her mockumentary The Nowhere Inn just days ahead of the release.
St. Vincent, real name Annie Clarke, collaborated with Sleater-Kinney’s Carrie Brownstein and the film is said to be ‘”a banana’s art film.”
The music video is full of theatrical visuals that show Clarke chasing after, and eventually capturing, an alter-ego.
Nowhere Inn is written by Clarke and Brownstein, and directed by Daddy’s Home music video director, Bill Benz.
The film is described as “metafictional account of two creative forces banding together to make a documentary about St. Vincent’s music, touring life, and public persona”.
The film follows Clarke’s latest album, Daddy’s Home and Brownstein’s latest Sleater-Kinney album, Path Of Wellness both released earlier this year.
