Sarah Hyland Opens Up About Contemplating Suicide
Modern Family actress, Sarah Hyland, opened up during an interview with SELF about contemplating suicide.
Sarah was an open book when it came to her interview, discussing her kidney transplants and her father giving her a kidney — then explained approximately two years ago her body went into rejection.
The actress said, “When a family member gives you a second chance at life and it fails, it almost feels like it’s your fault… and it’s not, but it does,”.
A very tearful Sarah went on to explain she had to go through dialysis and in the May, she had the kidney removed; shortly after that point, she contemplated suicide.
Her brother was then discovered to be a match — but during all of this, she had a bunch of other medical issues.
Sarah goes on to show the camera her scares, and the impact the surgeries had on her life thus far.
