RHOA’S Nene Leakes Husband Gregg Leakes Has Passed Away
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes‘ husband Gregg Leakes has passed away at the age of 66 from colon cancer.
The family publicist and long time friend Ernest Dukes informed Variety of the passing.
“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart.”
“After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife NeNe Leakes.”
“We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family and allow them to mourn in private during this very, very difficult time,”
This news has come after Nene was recorded informing people at her Atlanta bar The Linnethia that Gregg was “transitioning to the other side.”
The couple have been together since 1997.
They have one son together, Brentt, and Gregg was the main father figure in Nene’s son from a previous relationships life, Bryson.
Gregg also had 5 children from a previous marriage.
