‘Orange Is the New Black’ & ‘Lost’ Actor Brad William Henke Dead At 56
Brad William Henke has passed away at 56.
The former NFL player is said to have died in his sleep at home — the cause of death is unclear, however the family are “devastated” by Henke‘s “unexpected” death on Wednesday.
During his career, Brad has built an impressive portfolio with over 100 acting credits, with roles in shows including Dexter, CSI, ER, Lost and famously played one of the prison guards in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black.
He retired from NFL in 1994 as a defensive lineman, and was drafted in 1989 by the New York Giants — even getting on the field against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XXIV.
