Netflix Cancels Meghan Markle Animated Series ‘Pearl’
Netflix has announced the cancellation of Meghan Markle’s animated series Pearl.
The streaming site is making a move to cut costs after subscriber numbers continue to fall.
Pearl is just one of a number of shows that the service will be dropping.
A fall in subscribers as set to continue, with the first sharp drop wiping over $50bn off Netflix’s market value.
The show, of which Markle would be an executive producer on, was set to centre on the story of a young girl inspired by influential women in history.
Millions more subscribers could vacate their Netflix subscriptions over the next few months.
