Naomi Osaka Eliminated In Third Round At Olympics

Making her return to WTA competitions at the Montreal tournament in August, Naomi Osaka won her first two games at the Olympics.

It was then in the third round in which she lost to Marketa Vondrousova, losing 6-1 in the first set and 6-4 in the second.

Speaking after the loss she said, “I’m disappointed in every loss, but I feel like this one sucks more than the others.”

Next up for Naomi is the National Bank Open in Montreal set to begin Friday 6th August.
