Mary Elizabeth Winstead Joins Cast Of ‘Star Wars: Ahsoka’

Mary Elizabeth Winstead joins the cast of Disney’s new live-action Star Wars series, Ahsoka.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hayden Christensen will also appear in the series, reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker. Rosario Dawson stars in the show as the titular character Ahsoka Tano, joined by Ivanna Sakhno and Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren.

The series, penned by Dave Filoni, will reportedly begin production in March of 2022.

Further plot details on the series are being kept under wraps, though it is rumoured to be a Mandalorian spinoff that will follow Dawson on a hunt for an Imperial rival.

Recently, Winstead starred alongside Woody Harrelson in Netflix action-thriller, Kate. She is enjoyed a number of prominent action roles in recent years, including parts in 10 Cloverfield Lane, Gemini Man, and Birds of Prey.
