Lewis Hamilton Surprised Max Verstappen “Did Not Check If He Was Ok”

Lewis Hamilton has said that he’s surprised Max Verstappen did not check if he was ok after their crash at the Italian Grand Prix.
The pair were both involved in a racing incident over the weekend at the F1 Italian Grand Prix, after Verstappen’s car collided with Hamilton.
The FIA have since given Verstappen a three grid-place penalty for the incident stating he was predominantly at fault.
Speaking to PlanetF1, the British driver has said that he was surprised his rival didn’t check if he was okay after the crash.
“I did see Max get out and just walk by. I found that a little bit surprising,” he said.
“Because ultimately I think when we go out, and when we do have incidents, the first thing we want is make sure if the guy that we crashed into or we collided with is okay,” he added.
Verstappen has since defended his actions, saying that he knew Hamilton must have been okay as he was “trying to reverse out of the gravel”.
