Kit Harington Enters Rehab For “Wellness Retreat”

Game of Thrones actor, Kit Harington, has entered into a “wellness retreat”, according to his representative.
Kit, who played Jon Snow in the HBO series, recently celebrated the end of an era after the show finalised this month.
He entered into a luxury Connecticut facility for a mental health retreat before the finale, in fact sources are saying it was at least two weeks prior to Thrones ending. Initially reports stated the stint in “rehab,” was for “stress, exhaustion and alcohol abuse,” but this isn’t completely true.
The facility costs around $100,000+ per month, but Kit hasn’t entered unwillingly, in fact, he “has decided to utilise this break in schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues.”
Rose Leslie, his former co-star in the Thrones series and more recently turned wife, is very supportive of his decision to receive professional help.
In the final script reading, released as a Game of Thrones behind-the-scenes documentary, he read the fate of his character and broke down in tears, which he openly admits he required therapy after learning about the shows ending.
He told Variety the “darkest” point for him was when Jon Snow was killed, but later revived — this on top of the attention and focus on him as a character in the series and the connection people make in public are all factors in his decision to receive support in on his “wellness retreat.”

We understand that Kit is doing much better and doesn’t want to directly address his decision at the moment, and will focus on recovering; but his team want to make it very clear, this is a “wellness retreat” and most definitely isn’t a “rehab” for recovery with alcohol abuse.
