Josh Hartnett Secretly Married Long Term Girlfriend Tamsin Egerton

Josh Hartnett has secretly tied the knot with his girlfriend of ten years, Tamsin Egerton.

The Sun reported that the couple were married during an intimate ceremony at The Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on November 5.

Harnett, famous for the likes of Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down and Penny Dreadful, took a step back from acting in the mid-2000s. Explaining his decision in an interview with Sunrise (via the Daily Mail), Harnett said: “It was the best thing for my mental health and my career to keep Hollywood at bay.”

The 43-year-old met the St Trinian’s and Grimsby actress in 2012 whilst working on the production of the time-travelling romance film, The Lovers. Now living together in the UK, the couple welcomed their third child in January 2021.

Despite a hiatus and allowing some of the Hollywood frenzy to dwindle around him, Hartnett recently bagged a role in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming picture, Oppenheimer. The biographical film depicts the invention of the atomic bomb, focusing on the titular ‘father of the atom bomb’ J. Robert Oppenheimer (Cillian Murphy) and his work in the Manhattan Project.

The star-studded cast also includes Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Rami Malek, Florence Pugh and Kenneth Branagh.
