John Lithgow Cast In Martin Scorsese’s ‘Killers Of The Flower Moon’

John Lithgow has joined the cast of new Apple film ‘Killers Of The Flower Moon‘, directed by Martin Scorsese.

Variety reports that Lithgow will play the role of a prosecutor.

The new film is an adaptation of David Grann’s book by the same name. The story is set in 1920s Oklahoma and follows the murders of several oil-wealthy members of Osage Nation, which become known as the Reign of Terror.

Other cast members include Scorsese regulars Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro. Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson, Michael Abbott Jr., Louis Cancelmi, William Belleu, Tatanka Means, Pat Healy and Scott Shepherd also feature.

Scorsese co-wrote the adaptation with Eric Roth.

Lithgow will appear in Showtimes limited series revival, Dexter: New Blood.

No release date for Killers Of The Flower Moon has been announced.
