HBO’s Game of Thrones spin-off, House of The Dragon, has added two new cast members.

Milly Alcock and Emily Carey join an already star-studded line up for the show.

Alock will play a young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, the king’s first-born child. Emma D’Arcy portrays the adult counterpart of the character.

Carey plays a young Alicent Hightower, the most comely woman in Westeros and the daughter of Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King. Olivia Cooke plays the adult Alicent.

House of The Dragon is an adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s book, Fire & Blood.

It is set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and follows the slow decline of House Targaryen and their dragons.

The spin-off already stars D’Arcy, Cooke, Matt Smith, Paddy Considine, Eva Best, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Sonoya Mizuno and Fabien Frankel.

Production for House of The Dragon is currently underway in the UK and hopes for a 2022 release date.
