Holland Roden has spoken candidly about filming the new Teen Wolf film without Dylan O’Brien.

Fans will recall that the characters of Lydia and Stiles, played by Holland and Dylan, ended up together in the MTV series. However, Dylan decided not to return for the Paramount+ movie, and Holland has revealed how this impacted the film.

In an interview with US Weekly, Holland said that reuniting without Dylan was “like when you have 11 kids and one’s missing.” Despite O’Brien not being part of the film (although his Jeep is!), Roden was still grateful to be able to reunite with as much of the original cast as possible. “It really was like coming back to a family,” Holland said, “We all stayed at the same hotel. It was like an adult camp. We were really fond of that part of Atlanta.”

Roden went on to say that “It was like coming home. Having so many of your friends and getting to work with them and the fact that we grew up together is a rare thing in this business, and I certainly don’t take it for granted.”
