Frank Ocean Opens New Luxury Goods Store In New York

Rapper Frank Ocean has opened a new store in New York City for his recently launched luxury goods company Homer.

The artist announced the first collection for his new company Homer last week which will include a variety of high end jewellery pieces and silk scarves.

According to Ocean, all of the products will be handmade in Italy and use 18-karet gold, recycled sterling silver and diamonds grown in a lab.

The artist opened the store in New York on August 9, and is currently the only place anyone can physically buy items from his company.

Ocean revealed in an interview with the Financial Times that he became obsessed with luxury high-end products because of his mother and godfather.

“My mother was into jewellery, but in a low-key Princess Diana kind of way,” the artist said.

“My godfather was into guns, but he was also into cars, and he bought luxury-lifestyle magazines, which I became obsessed with”, he added.

Anyone who wants to visit the new store can either book an appointment on the Homer website or visit the store in person.
