Founder And CEO Of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, And MacKenzie Bezos Are Divorcing

Amazon Founder, chairman, CEO and president, Jeff Bezos and his wife, MacKenzie Bezos, are divorcing after 25-years of marriage.

The couple has announced their split and movement to divorce after 25-years of marriage, with Jeff saying, “We want to make people aware of a development in our lives. As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other and deeply grateful for every one of the years we have been married to each other.”

The couple has, as stated by Jeff, trialled separated which has led to their decision to divorce.

Jeff continued, “If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all again. We’ve had such a great life together as a married couple, and we also see wonderful futures ahead, as parents, friends, partners in ventures and projects, and as individuals pursuing ventures and adventures. Jeff and MacKenzie met in New York when he was vice president of a hedge fund — Jeff interviewed MacKenzie for a job, which later led to the pair marrying each other in 1993 shortly followed by them quitting their Wall Street jobs and moving to Seattle which is where Jeff started investing into online business by opening an online bookstore, thus creating Amazon.

They have four children; three sons and one daughter whom they adopted from China.
