Patricia Kara is an actress, model and television host and has been in Hollywood for over 30 years; currently working as Model #9 on Deal or No Deal.
I had the chance to speak with her about life in Hollywood and the way the industry has changed over the last 30 years with social media influencers seemingly changing the way auditions are done — with questions now focussed around, “how many followers do you have?” rather than “tell us about your experience…”
The fast-paced world that we all know as Hollywood isn’t all glitz and glamour, with the every day strive for success that everyone must hold to land the next big job, it can have a burnout effect, something which Patricia has learnt to deflect throughout the years working on television.
