David Harbour Reveals Becoming A Stepdad Has Been Life-Changing
Stranger Things star David Harbour opens up about being stepdad to Lily Allen‘s two daughters, Ethel and Marnie.
David and Lily tied the knot 7th September 2020 in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas. The wedding was complete with an Elvis Presley impersonator and In-N-Out burgers.
The actor appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and said that the youngsters use him as a “jungle gym”.
“They crawl all over me, they make it their job to try to hurt me as much as they can. My lower back is destroyed.”

“I never really wanted to have kids”, he confesses, “And I get it now, why everybody has kids. Because it’s kind of like the meaning of life, you pass the torch to these other individuals.”
“You love them more than you could ever love yourself, and I never thought that was possible with anyone, I love myself a lot, but it’s such a beautiful thing,” Harbour continues.
“My heart is just broken wide open and I have a new love I never had.”
