Dave Chappelle Attacked On Stage During A Performance In Los Angeles
Stand-up comedian, Dave Chappelle, was attacked on stage during a performance in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Clips were shared across social media that showed someone running into Chappelle.
Reports suggested that the two of them tussled, before the attacker moved behind the screen and was surrounded by security.
According to ABC journalist, Stephanie Walsh, among the audience members was Chris Rock, who performed earlier in the night.
Rock came on stage after the incident and joked: “Was that Will Smith?”
Smith previously slapped Rock on stage at the Oscars after he made a joke about wife Jada.
Jamie Foxx was among those who rushed to Chappelle to make sure he was ok.
“Whenever you’re in trouble, Jamie Foxx will show up in a sheriff’s hat,” Chappelle said.
“I thought that was part of the show,” Foxx responded.
