Cardi B Wins Defamation Lawsuit Against Tasha K

Rapper Cardi B has been awarded $1.25 million dollars in her defamation lawsuit against YouTuber Tasha K.
Tasha K, whose real name is Latasha Kebe, was found liable for defamation and two other forms of wrongdoing, by a federal jury on Monday after she uploaded videos accusing Cardi of having worked as a prostitute and claiming she had contracted multiple STDs.
The YouTuber has now been ordered to pay $1.25 million in general damages to Cardi, as well as $250k for medical expenses.
Any potential further punitive damages Kebe may owe the rapper will be determined at a future hearing.
In a tweet about the verdict, Kebe said: “My Husband, Attorney’s, & I fought really hard. I want to thank them for their long hours and sleepless nights. Winos it’s only up from here. See y’all in a few days.”
