Britney Spears’ Father Files Petition To End Conservatorship
Britney Spears’ father has decided to sign the documents which will end the 13-year conservatorship between himself and his daughter.
The documents being signed means Jamie Spears will no longer have control over Britney’s life and finances.
Spears has fought for years to remove her father from the role.
Additionally, she tried twice in the last two years each time failing from ending the conservatorship.
In the filling submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court, which can be found in an article by CNN, Mr. Spears has stated:
“If Ms Spears wants to terminate the conservatorship and believes that she can handle her own life, Mr Spears believes that she should get that chance.”
