‘Black Panther’ Fans Are Calling For ‘T’Challa’ To Be Recast

Fans of Marvels Black Panther have called for the lead role of T’Challa to be recast as that’s what Chadwick Boseman would’ve wanted.
Boseman who played T’Challa sadly passed away in August 2020.
Now #RecastTChalla has begun trending on Twitter just days after Derrick Boseman announced that his brother would’ve wanted the role filled by someone else.
Fans have taken to Twitter to express their feelings, writing,
I firmly believe that T’Challa should not end with Chadwick Boseman. He will be dearly missed, but the character means so much to many.
There’s so many stories to tell with T’Challa as Black Panther. His legacy should live on by moving forward with the character.#RecastTChalla pic.twitter.com/lOE8TKnSfA

According to NME, last month Marvel’s VP of Development dispelled rumours that T’Challa would be recast saying: “We have to figure out how to move this franchise on without that character,” he went on. “Because I think we all feel so much of T’Challa in the MCU on the screen…is tied to Chadwick’s performance”.
Black Panther 2 is set to be released in November 2022.
